PTI May Blog Hop Inspiration photo

As Nichole says,  "There is just something so bright and cheerful about a rainbow of colors all in one place."

For today's Hop I die cut Beautiful Butterflies plus Martha Stewart's small Butterfly punch from paint chips in a "Rainbow of Colors" and scattered a few felt flowers around the sentiment on my card front...it may look a bit busy, but hope it brightens the day a little for my friend in Boston.

I'm sure by now, there are many creative cards posted ~ off to check 'em out.  Have a great day!

MAKE IT MONDAY #212

FUSSY CUTTING TIPS

Check out Ashley's tips for fussy cutting sentiments or images that don't have coordinating dies HERE.

I used to do this a lot before I became a LAZY crafter and started purchasing as many dies as I could to avoid the chore of cutting them out by hand.  But, of course, I am going to be joining in on the MIM challenge this week, so there is some scissors sharpening to be done in my craft room  ;-)

MAKE IT MONDAY CHALLENGE #211

USING GELATOS WITH STAMPS

This week on MIM, Melissa Phillips has a unique way to use Gelatos  and shows us how to soften the look of stamped images.  Watch her video HERE

I don't own any Gelatos (yet :). although I have come close on several Micheal's Craft Store visits.  My improvising for this technique is 'sponge daubing' with the inks I used on my PTI Spiral Bouquet stamp images.  Instead of using a patterned stamp on the top, I used an embossing folder.  The envie is also decorate.

Note:  The cardstock was cut 4 1/4 X 11 1/2 and scored to have a top flap at 1 3/4" and 7 1/4" for the center fold.
