My card is a remake for the PTI Multiples Challenge.
Sorry for the night time inside photos and for the color distortion.
My re-do card is on pale orchid cardstock base.  :-(
The original-attempt card was tossed in my recycle bin ~ enuf said!

PTI March Release-Day 4

Day 4 of the March Release brings us one of the most magical things about spring ~ the return of the birds! Nichole has created a  template for making a very sweet little bird house, so that we can assemble and alter the bird house to make it our own.

The Challenge ~ Build a Bird House
Create and decorate a bird house using the provided template.

My Card ~
I made the birdhouse out of white cardstock, the roof was embossed with a woodgrain EF on Kraft c/s.
Had to cut down the Picket Fence die to fit in front of the birdhouse.
Leaves and Birds are from Song Birds set.
Flowers are cut from a Darice border die.

PTI March Release-Day 3

Day 3 of the March Release brings us lots of Springtime flowers.

The Challenge-Favorite Florals ~
Dig out your very favorite floral set and create an all new project! Use a fresh spring color scheme, maybe inspired by one of today's projects. Create a true spring masterpiece putting your favorite floral set to work!
I don't have to dig too deep~all of my Flowering stamp sets
are on my desk top 😊

My Card ~
Stamps/Dies:  Peonies on Parade.
Patterned Paper:  Recollections 6X6 pad of Christmas papers

I just bought a set of Spectrum Noir Sparkle brush pens and had to use them on these flowers.  The glitter is amazing IRL, wish I could have captured it on the photo.

This card took way longer than I thought (in my mind) that it should have :-{  But, I am happy with how it turned out.

PTI March Release-Day 2

Day 2 of the March Release brings us the new Multiply dies.  These small shapes will create some fun card making!

The Challenge ~ Multiply
Create a new project that incorporates multiples of a single shape, stamped or die-cut.  Find some kind of shape, large or small to repeat on a project.  Play with arrangements and color combinations. Be sure to use a minimum of three repeating shapes remembering an odd number of them for best visual appeal.

Click on photo for more details
My Card ~
The dies are all from Song Birds.  My multiples are one of the flowers in this set.  I tried to copy the colors on the bird as closely as I could to create the 5 flowers on the bottom.
This Congrats card is going to my cousin who just bought a new home :-)

MAKE IT MONDAY

Nail Polish Marbling

This week, Lizzie is up with her take on using nail polish for marbled backgrounds.  Check it out HERE.

Okay, this was a tad messy, I don't have many nail polishes in my cosmetic collection (usually get a French Manicure) but I had a red, bright pink and a pale pink which evedently has sparkly bits in it~BONUS for this technique 😉
I am not crazy about my card, but I can't pass up a MIM Challenge now, can I?

PTI 10th Anniversary-Day 3

March 7th  informs us of a new Monthly Planner feature from Lexi Daly, replacing the Moments Inked newsletter. See her cute Planner page designs HERE.

The PTI Challenge-Altered Envelope~
Our challenge is to create a new card for someone in your life who could use a little cheering up this week. While your supplies are out, put as much time into the envelope as you do the card. You can create your own envelope, paint it, ink it, stamp it, brayer it, color it, doodle on it...whatever you are inspired to do.
Sounds like a good idea to me, cause it will go right in the mail today! 😊
