Papertrey Ink - January Blog Hop

It's the 25th of the month, which means it's a Blog Hop over at Papertrey Ink. This month's challenge is to dust off an old stamp set or use a set that has never seen ink. Everyone always creates such gorgeous inspiring cards for this hop ~ check it out here

I love my Fancy Flourishes and the beautiful sentiments in my Fall Elegance sets but don't use then as often as I should. What better time than PTI's Blog Hop to ink em up? You can click on the photo for a larger image and hopefully will see all the bling on my "flourishy" butterfly (which I had seen on the Oh-so-talented Dawn McVey's blog a while back) and sparkly ink on the sheet music image.

I made this card for my hubby who has been feeling rather poorly lately. I am praying this is not serious and always have "HOPE" for good test results for the CT Scan today and the Bone Scan next week.

Thank you for stopping by ~ it means so much to me {{{HUGS}}}

Moxie Fab Tuesday Trigger-New Year Garland

Well, here I am Sunday evening and posting my MFW Tuesday Trigger :o) Check it out for tons of inspiration
http://www.moxiefabworld.com/2011/01/tuesday-trigger-bright-spot.html

All the white in this inspiration photo kept my card pretty clean and simple (well, for me anyway :) I needed to get a birthday card in the mail and these colored circles made me think of this design.
I strung triangle shaped buttons (from the the dollar store) on some thin lavender RicRac and attached the banner with dark green brads from Making Memories to the white Cuttlebug embossed "wall". I punched a piece of yellow card stock with Martha Stewart's "Cornice" border punch, stamped it with Inique Boutique's Party Cupcake clear "happy birthday" stamp. Adhered it to a second Cuttlebug "Swiss Dot" embossed bright pink card. The base card is from Bazzill Basics Paper Pack.
The inside sentiment says:
Hope you have a banner year!

Thanks for stopping by~have a good evening!
