This time I used my Grandpa's Glass: Cup of Love die by Jillian Vance Design as an embossed image instead of die cutting it. This technique is very cool, thank you, Amy for reminding me to use it ;-)
The Orange paper is Embossed Brights from Craft Smith.
Sunflowers are 3-D stickers from The Dollar Tree.
Background patterned paper is from G.C.D. 12X12 papers: Loverly collection.

Swipes of Tim Holtz Distress Stain on my white panel are the background for my outlined Maple leaf.  Sentiment is from Uniko's "I Love Tea" stampset and the colorful cups are from a sheet of coffee/tea stickers I picked up at The Dollar Tree a few CBLH's  back 😁

Coffee Lovers BlogHopFall '17

Hey there Coffee, Tea, Cocoa Lovers in Blogland!  I am so very happy to have my (slow/limited) Internet back as of this morning!  AND, in time to join in the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop! 😊
Irma, the totally 'un-welcomed guest' of Florida last week, created such havoc and devastation across the entire state.  I feel very, VERY fortunate my home had minimal damage (all fixable) and no flooding here on the Island.  The tornado warnings were nerve wracking to say the least. We were SO lucky and truly Blessed!   My electricity, water, landline and internet were out for a few days, but there are still folks in my County (towns right next to me) that do not have their power up and running as of today(!) The news reports are saying total restoration will be completed by Tuesday.
I want to thank you for your concern, comments and well wishes!
Hope to get by your blogs for visit soon.  💗Hugs, Helen

Here's my first card:
I used the Jillian Vance Design Grandpa's Cup die that I won from the Summer 2017 Hop~Thank you, Jillian!

Not quite as elegant as Betsy's card...I used the limbs and the birds from "Nesting" to create my first Christmas card.  Love the white glitter for snow even though it's all over my craft room desk!

I thought Betsy's card was amazing!  I didn't get a 'perfect' results with my card, but pulled out some dies and stamps that worked pretty well.  I couldn't mix the texture paste to a good consistency for this technique, so I improvised using glue over the stamped image in the center of my 'iron-look' frame.  I sponged on brown and terra cotta inks plus used Blue Smoke Perfect Pearls.

Stamps: PTI's Embellishments and Spiral Bouquet; Hero Arts' Paris
Die cuts:  Spellbinders

I just think wood grain and Song Birds go together so well~
Or maybe I just needed another reason to use those beautiful stamps/dies 😊

If anyone has read my Blog before, you know I am a hoarder and saver of ALL things that can be considered 'crafty'!  See the strings under the bird?  They are from the piece of linen used on the card I made for Anna's 4th Anniversary-Linen challenge.  😀
