Moxie Fab Tuesday Trigger-New Year Garland

Well, here I am Sunday evening and posting my MFW Tuesday Trigger :o) Check it out for tons of inspiration
http://www.moxiefabworld.com/2011/01/tuesday-trigger-bright-spot.html

All the white in this inspiration photo kept my card pretty clean and simple (well, for me anyway :) I needed to get a birthday card in the mail and these colored circles made me think of this design.
I strung triangle shaped buttons (from the the dollar store) on some thin lavender RicRac and attached the banner with dark green brads from Making Memories to the white Cuttlebug embossed "wall". I punched a piece of yellow card stock with Martha Stewart's "Cornice" border punch, stamped it with Inique Boutique's Party Cupcake clear "happy birthday" stamp. Adhered it to a second Cuttlebug "Swiss Dot" embossed bright pink card. The base card is from Bazzill Basics Paper Pack.
The inside sentiment says:
Hope you have a banner year!

Thanks for stopping by~have a good evening!

  10. Hey Helen!! Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving me some love! Your card for the trigger is fantastic! I love that adorable button banner!

To answer your question, the roses I made on my card were made from die cut flowers I used my Slice to cut out. I was following a tutorial from my friend Tammy posted http://outlawzchallenges.ning.com/video/tutorial-for-paper-roses at The Outlawz, the ning that I design for! She uses a flower punch but since I didn't have one I went in search of a 5 petal flower and found one of my Basics cart to my Slice! Worked like a charm too since the center was already cut out and in the tutorial you have to cut the center of the flower out! They are really fun and easy if you want to give them a try...just follow Tammy's tutorial and you will be a pro in no time flat!!

    HUGS, Amy:)
