BRINGING THE INSIDE OUT

 

Danielle's got a really fun challenge for this week's MIM.  Check out her sweet card HERE.  She demonstrates how to decorate both the outside and the inside of the card.  

Of course, I had to play along :-)
I used my new Songbird stamps and dies ~love the versatility of that set.

My 'window' is Spellbinders Big Scalloped Rectangles cut out of the card base front of Stamper's Select White.  I cut it a second time from Blue cardstock and stamped my wood grain in coffee ink on the inside under the pretty Songbird.

I used one of the PTI  June sketch recipes for my card .  

The dies:  Rosie Posie, RP Step 2, and Swoosh  are cut from Vintage Cream cardstock. The leaves are die cut from an embossed print avacado green cardstock from Bazzill Basics.

The striped paper is from Pebbles (Halloween themed) Paper Pad.

Coffee Lovers-Summer Hop-3

I was late to the party because I was on vacation in Cancun from June 3-10, but I really love these Coffee Lovers hops and managed to get three cards entered.   ;-)

MAKE IT MONDAY CHALLENGE

STAMPING WITH NEUTRALS

This week's MIM Challenge features Dawn McVey with a video  demonstrating how to put the spotlight on stamping with neutrals.

I like the effect of this technique and used my wood grain background stamp with Honey ink from Color Box onto Stamper's Select White cardstock.  I then cut it down and added the leaves from PTI's Songbirds inked in Coffee Bean. The sentiment is from Songbirds and really says it all! The Beautiful Butterflies is die cut from a paint chip and the BB Layers is stamped in Avocado Green. The panel is adhered to a SSW card base.
