Moxie Fab - I want to ride my bicycle (2nd card) & Everything But The Kitchen Sink #17

Well, I enjoyed using my (found) bicycle stamp so much that I thought I would make a second card for two challenges. Everything But the Kitchen Sink has a fun sketch challenge from the talented Winter Sims ~ whose name you see EVERYWHERE in BlogLand lately :o)

I kinda turned the sketch on it's side and made my card a bit rectangle rather than square, but I think it' works ;o?

And, my second entry for Moxie Fab World's "Bicycle" challenge.

Go over and check out the fabulous entries, you still have time to join in on both challenges here

Well, I've been gone from Blog-Land for a long while. Went to CA for 10 days on a "Space A" trip. We actually stayed in the LA area the whole time and ended up flying home from the same place...a bit unusual, to say the least!
Anywho, I missed you all and the fabulous challenges I was eying from afar..took my laptop to keep 'connected' with everyone :O)
Had to make a Congratulations card for a friend who graduated from an on-line course she took this week. Whoot whoot!
Thought this bicycle challenge may help me find my lost mojo~man, it's tough getting back after a couple of weeks, huh?

Thank you so much for stopping by, I really appreciate your comments!

My card~
Stamp: bicycle by PSX
Ink: initially stamped the bike with Ranger brown ink and colored over each part with glitter gel pens. The yellow flowers in the basket are dotted with Stickles. The sentiment is computer generated.

Moxie Fab - Tuesday Trigger- Vintage Pink and Blue Dishes

This is Moxie Fab World's Tuesday Trigger "Pink and Blue Dishes" by Alicia Thelin. Love the color combo and think the Pink looks more Peachy Coral, so my card was created with this peach and blue and white. I made my own background paper (polka dots) and used the Emboss Resist Technique. I like how it came out and think it can be used for different occasions.

Stamps: Solid wildflowers is from "Just For Fun"; the large polka dots are from Impression Obsession "Cover.a.card" collection
Ink: Ranger's embossing: Ranger's Terra Cotta (sponged over the embossed flowers and edged on the blue mat; Stampabilities' French Blue covered the polka dots stamp

Moxie Fab - Three Cheers for Chairs Challenge

Moxie Fab has a challenge that looked like a fun one to enter. But, I couldn't find any 'chairs' in my assortment of stamps.... oh nooo! So, I was looking through the latest "Spaces" magazine and found this gorgeous chair for sale at a local furniture store. Thought this would be a fun 'thinking of you' card to send. The inside price tag is really the cost of this Victorian Leather Side Chair by Thomasville~pretty, huh?
Click on the photos for more details.

My card~
Base card, brown and white mats/tags are from American Crafts
Stamp: Fern is Martha Stewart
Embellishments: button and embroidery floss from Joanne's; Lattice border punch is Martha Stewart

Betsy Veldman's Sketch Challenge

Don't you just love Betsy Veldman!?! She has the most inspirational blog ~ when you have some time (actually, take lots of time :o) head on over and check out her beautiful creations http://scrapbookgirl.typepad.com/paper_scissors_and_superh/

I needed another Baby Girl card and wanted to do something "new" --- just love reinventing that wheel. This is 2 of 3 baby girls born to friends --- the third is due in October. Betsy has a wonderful sketch challenge that seemed to be "perfect" for this card. What do you think? Is there enough pink?

My card:
Base card stock is pink marble from Xerox, pink and white stripe and flowery print designer paper from Creative Imaginations.
The sleeping baby bear on a cloud is a felt 3-D sticker from the Dollar store.
The pink heart shaped button is from a package bought at Michael's.
Glittery butterfly, star from my stash.
There is gingham ribbon under the lace and the white ribbon through the button - all from Michael's
Extra Giga scalloped oval punch by Marvy
Sentiment typed on my computer in brown ink
Hmmm, there are NO stamps on this card~it may be a "first" :o)
