Today is the FREE printable download of the PTI Design Team's designs ~ YAY!  We are to make a project utilizing these images.

I used the cute Happy Birthday image from Lizzie Jones, attached it onto a burlap flower and added Nestabilities die cut leaves. Popped and taped everything on a Happy Birthday Cuttlebug embossed folder.  Stamper's Select White cardstock and Banner Border dies are from PTI.

This card is going out to a friend who has just started treatment at the Dana Faber Cancer Center. I want her to know how much her friendship has meant to me over the year.

MIM - Window Screen

Make It Monday #150 ~ Window Screen Cards

I needed a quick card to send out to a friend who is always there for me, so I thought I would give this window screen technique  another go. You can watch the video HERE  I like the framed cut out window effect and used the Spellbinders Nestabilities Big Scalloped Rectangles again.
The glittery monkey is kinda tiny and the smallest googly eyes I have seem a tad too large, but he's still looks cute hanging off that tree branch so I may just leave him be... my other thought was to replace the eyes with small brown gems :-)

The base card was stamped with a background stamp from Hero Arts (Design Block Stencil) which I have had for years and need to use more often ~

MIM #150

Make It Monday for this week's challenge is to create a Window Screen Card.

Well, this is the card I came up with, not so sure it is the right technique, but I couldn't miss MIM #150 now, could I?

The 'window and frame' are from Spellbinders Nestabilities Big Scalloped Rectangles.
