SPRITZED STAMPS CHALLENGE

This week I am joining  Melissa Phillips at Papertrey Ink.  She shares her favorite tips and tricks for spritzing your stamps to create a watercolor effect. You can watch her video HERE. 
Her cards are always so amazing and inspiring to me plus I just love everything "watercolor", so of course I had to give this one a try ;-)

Don't quite know what it is about this stamp from my otherwise beloved Rosie Posie set, but I just don't ever seem to like the end results. :-O  
PS:  I will try this technique with another flower stamp at another time~rushing to get this posted and off for a couple of appointments.

"Create Along With Us" challenge at Papertrey Ink allows us to select something the amazing team has created during the July Release that inspired you.  So then we can create our own version of that design team member's project...cool, eh?

My ink splattering was pretty messy and not one of my favorites, but this is probably only the fourth card I ever made using this technique...guess I should practice more :-)

Used some the Embroidery floss that I bought for a PTI project challenge a while ago and threaded it threw a Spellbinder die cut. I couple probably make 100 cards with the floss I have, but will do that at a later date   ;-)

STENCILING WITH TEXTURE PASTE

Ashley  has a beautiful card technique for this week's MIM ~ you can see her video HERE to follow along and learn about stenciling with texture paste and re-inkers or paints. 

This is the card I came up with using a new-to-me-technique.  The paste is a little "outside the lines" of my stencil, but considering this is my first attempt.  I kinda like the card.
