Moxie Fab - Tuesday Trigger-Lovely on the Green

Hi there, hope your Friday evening is going well. Just got home from eating out and wanted to post the card I made earlier for this week's Moxie Fab's Tuesday Trigger. I wasn't sure about entering this week and can't say this is my favorite shade of green. I know for sure I don't have any stamps to match the beautiful toile print or gingham ribbon... but after searching deep in my "stash of goodies" I found this strip of wallpaper I picked up, oh maybe 5 or 6 years ago when it almost made a border in one of my guest bedrooms and thought "This could work"!

I punched an oval shape of the print, backed it with dark green and used about 10 Adhesive Tabs to adhere it to another piece of wallpaper and then to the base card. The bow is really puffy, so I used several Mini Glue Dots to get it to stick onto the card...same process for the button ~ won't be mailing this one :o) You can click on the image for a better detail view.

I was pretty pleased with the outcome, what do you think?

My Card~
Cardstock: Off White base card and dark green is from AC Moore
Stamps & Ink: none
Tools: 3 1/2" Scallop Oval from Marvy; Corner Rounder from EKSuccess
Embellishments: Off White Satin ribbon from AC Moore; Vintage Button from Dress It Up
