Moxie Fab - Tuesday Trigger-Easter Eggs
Happy Monday everyone! Hope you all enjoyed your Easter. It was certainly a week to reflect and Thank God for all His many Blessings.
I wanted to post my Moxie Fab Tuesday Trigger card before it is time for this week's~ I have all good intentions of getting these challenges posted on the day they come out, but....Yikes it is Monday already!
Last Tuesday' s inspiration of Glazed Ceramic Easter Eggs is from Alicia Thelin. How beautiful are these colors? I made an Easter card that reflects the bright colored eggs (however, I just had to sneak a few pastels in there too~just to make myself comfortable :o)
I started out stamping the bunny on white cardstock and thinking I would just leave him white with the brown outline...then decided to color him in with glitter :) Earlier, I stamped the huge 'Greenery' background stamp over the blue striped paper (it fits 4 times on a 12x12 sheet), cut is down to fit half of my card and cut a circle in it for the bunny to peek through. I stamped the colored eggs and cut each one out to hide them in the grass, which is two different colored layers.
You can click on the card for more detail, and as always, thank you for stopping by!
My card~
Cardstock: Base is Marble Pink Parchment from Xerox; white and two shades of green (grass) are from K&Company; the blue stripe if from Scrapbooking and Paper Crafting Supplies at Target; the eggs were stamped on various scraps in my stash.
Stamps: Greenery background stamp is a 'Cover.a.card' cling from Impression Obsession; Eggs from G Studio, Bunny from Michael's $1 bin
Ink: Archival Brilliance 'Pearlescent Sky Blue'; Ranger 'Coffee'

ReplyDeleteHelen,
ReplyDeleteThat bunny is so cute! The blue paper looks like a fence. I also like the grass detail. Nice!
