PTI- Make It Monday #5
For Papertrey Ink's Make it Monday challenge this week we are to use some distressing. I haven't used this distressing technique much (okay, never!) on my cards, but thought it would be fun to try it ~ plus, who wouldn't love the chance to win a set of Papertrey Ink stamps ~~
me! me! me! me! :o! You still have time to enter here:

I ended up destroying several pieces of this card and guess I need to watch the video where Lisa Johnson is showing us 'how it is done' a few more times before my next attempt :o(
After stressing over this card for a few days, I managed to distress the mat that I stamped my sentiment on with a pair of scissors and then running my thumb nail across it to curl it up a bit.
I glued one wing of the butterflies and curled up the other to make them take flight.
My Card ~ click on the image for more details

Hi Helen, I love the ragged edges of the paper across the top, I love the look it gives. I also love the pretty butterflies! They're very springy! Thanks for sharing,
