MIM #65 - Backgrounds from Patterned Paper Scraps

Make It Monday #65 is a challenge I'll just bet we all could work on  for months with all the scraps of card stock and patterned papers in our craft rooms!
AND, maybe I will just continue to do so ~ I love using these pieces of too-pretty-to-throw-out scraps :^)
Dawn's video is so helpful ~ she shows the entire process from beginning to end.  Check it out  Here

I used the negative part of PTI's Banner Border die to create my "strips", taping the different patterned papers behind it to peek through.  I printed the sentiment on my computer and cut it out to look like a trailing banner from the butterfly.  The butterfly is a 3D sticker from Special Moments.

Thank you for stopping by ~ I love to hear what you think!

  2. Helen, this is truly all the colors!!!!

  3. Okay, this is cool! Love how you used the negative cuts as windows to display all the fabulous papers!

  4. So pretty and what a neat take on the challenge!
