MIM

Hope everyone enjoyed this weekend and had a wonderful Father's Day today.

Here is a quick card I am mailing tomorrow to a friend who is dealing with some changes in her life.

I am entering it in Make It Monday #120 ~ The challenge is Overlapping Ombre.  See Nicole's video HERE

I used the sentiment "Bloom" and stamped it with three different shades of pink and "where you're planted" is a fourth shade. The flowers are stamped in Pearlescent Purple.
The striped patterned paper is from Gypsy by Basic Grey.
Stamps are Spiral Bouquet by PTI.

Thinking the flowers need some pearls or gems in the centers? I'll add a pic if I decide :)

  5. Very pretty, Helen. ;-) I like the striped DP in the background and the lacey border at the bottom. Great job with the ombre effect on the words! A very pretty card. ;-)
