Virginia's View - Challenge #3
Stitching
Virginia has a new challenge for May. It is to add some sort of stitching on your projects. It can be machine-stitched, hand-stitched or faux-stitched.
Well, I had this card in my head for a while now, it is for my Grandson Jack's birthday coming up in June (so unlike me not to be making this at the last minute!). I originally thought I would attach the star balloons with Baker's twine, but used my extensive sewing skills instead ;-)

The background is embossed with the Numbers Cuttlebug folder, the star balloons are a punch from Marvy, that cute little alien is from a sheet of 5 stickers and googlie eyes from The Dollar Tree, balloon strings stitched from my sewing machine (after dusting it off :-).
Such a cute card! I am sure your grandson will love it, handmade with love is a special treat!
ReplyDeleteI hear you about 'the last minute' thing, but I am sure Jack is going to love this awesome card Helen!
