MIM 173

MAKE IT MONDAY CHALLENGE
NO OUTLINE WATERCOLOR
Okay, you just have to stop by PTI to see this video Heather put together on "no outline watercoloring" images.  This technique produces such a beautiful effect. I have not tried this before, although I have seen it ~ just thought it was way too difficult.
But, seeing as it's a MIM challenge, well I had to give it a try, no?
I stamped the flower in a pale grey ink then used  raspberry, green lime and shimmery silver re-inkers to create the watercolor look.

I used a single hydrangea flower stamp from Anna Griffin.
The card panel is from PTI~Stamper's Select White
The sentiment is from PTI~Beautiful Butterflies
I laced some thin sheer pink ribbon through the holes in the border punch on top of the green panel underneath.
