SAF - Challenge #1

STAMP-A-FAIRE
ANCIENT ROME-CHALLENGE #1

Now I remember buying some Embossing Paste for the last PTI challenge that used it, but I haven't used it since and for the life of me, could not remember where I put it??  I am sure it will show up eventually hiding in a corner of my craft room drawers.  I went to You Tube  and found a recipe for DIY Embossing Paste, which seemed to work just fine and dandy.  The only acrylic paint I found is 'Traditional Tan' (I assume the White is with the Embossing Paste?), so my color scheme for this card is worked around the paste.  The flowers are colored in with American Crafts Glitter Markers, which is pretty in person.  The Black ink smudged a tad from my rubber stamp ... but I'm going with "it's a handmade card!"  I like the texture it gave the panel under the Iris flower.

  1. Isn't it always the way - the moment you need a particular supply you can't find it. You did a beautiful job making the challenge work for you though! I bet that glitter is pretty in person. Nice choice!
