MIM #269

MAKE IT MONDAY

Embossed + Outlined Backgrounds

Betsy has a simple technique for this week's MIM challenge.  See her video HERE as she demonstrates the embossed images outlined with a marker in a coordinating color to really make the images pop!

I embossed a few masked Peonies on Parade stamps with white and gold embossing powders, then outlined the flowers with Copic  marker 'Ice Ocean' BG72.
I rather like how this card turned out and thinking I will try this technique with different colored card stock for more Christmas cards  :-)

  2. This is beautiful Helen! Never would have thought of using the Peonies for a Christmas card but I really LOVE it! The white and gold embossing really pops against your cardstock...SO pretty! :0)

  4. Helen, your Christmas peonies in white and gold are very striking! The Merry Christmas gold die-cut finished it off beautifully.
