 Felt Flowers 

 

This week Monday means it's time for another fun tutorial and challenge over at Papertrey Ink from one of the very talented Design Team members!  Lizzie's is sharing her tips for creating felt flowers.  See her video HERE.
I've got lots of felt and some flower dies that may work, so I am going to give this challenge a try.  Although, I don't think I would use this embellishment on many of my cards, unless I use a padded envie or a box...the majority of my cards are mailed out of state.

Create Along with PTI - May 2017

"Create Along With Us" challenge at Papertrey Ink allows us to select a card  one of the amazing DT Members has created during the May Release that inspired you.  We can then create our own version of their project...so awesome!

My Card ~

This Magnolia flower is one of the beautiful digital stamps from the awesome "Pattie's Creations Digital Images", one of our fabulous sponsors.  

I fussy cut the image, colored in the flowers/leaves with Copic markers and added touches of Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle pen.
The Pink 'n White stripe tag is from Paper Eskimo, the embossing folder is Sizzix and the thank you stamp is from a clear set by Heidi Swapp.

Well, Here we are on May 1st and you know that one of the happy things that happens on the first of each month is there is a new challenge at Creative With Stamps.  This month is easy peasy ~ every stamper has at least one flower stamp ;-)

My card front is embossed with a new die cover plate I just purchased from Little B.  It has a window die cut and a pretty butterfly.  I put a panel of greet polka dot pattern paper behind the butterfly and there is also a blank panel you can add a sentiment or stamp more images.  I added my 'hello' and some small pink flowers with yellow Stickles in the centers.  The Flower and Leaves in the corner are from PTI-Rosie Posie.  I popped them up on the bottom chevron embossed portion of the card front.
