Embossing Enamel Splatters

I am joining Melissa Phillips on MIM this week as she shows us how to add dimensional splotches and splatters to our projects with embossing enamel.  You can watch the video and see her gorgeous art work HERE. I love when Melissa is up for MIM challenges, she really helps me to break out of my comfort zone and try to imitate her amazing layering style.

Embossing Folder:  the anchors folder does not have a name on it, so I'm not sure what company it came from

I didn't have the Embossing Enamel product Melissa used, so I tried mixing some glitter with Ultra Think Embossing Powder to dot onto my little tag...not sure my 'enamel' dots look as  good as they should, but will try again when I purchase the right stuff :-)

Create Along With Us - March 2018

I am always motivated and inspired by the many challenges out there, but have to say this is one of my favorites from  PTI!  
You are allowed to select something that the amazing design team has created during the release that inspired you, and create your own version.  You could use a color scheme, a technique, revisit an older set or ink up a newly purchased set 💓

Don't you just love the new Vogue Vases?  I was inspired by one of Betsy's cards and used two of the vases from Cherry Lynn that I have and the Flowers are from PTI Brushed Blooms.  The embossed frame on Stamper's Select White c/s is from Cuttlebug.

I used two older wood block stamps for my card today, the bunny  and sweet daisies. I colored them in with my Prismacolor Waterclor pencils.  If you see a shadow of the bunny, it is because I was impatient waiting for the water to dry and his cute face was suddenly distorted, so I re-stamped, re-colored and fussy cut him out, popping him on top ~ that was a happy mistake. :-) 
I added his cotton tail and the glittery grass for a bit more dimension.
