Yup... it's a wine bottle gift tag for a dear friend's birthday coming up in May.

I die cut the Balloon Bash cover plate twice and off set it just a tad when gluing it together.  The balloons are a Martha Stewart punch.

There are many techniques you can use: watercolors, colored pencils, chalk pastels and alcohol markers.  
I chose watercolor paints on the Bird and the background blue sky and green grassy ground 😊

Well, this is my attempt at CAS anyway 😊
I am in awe of the card makers who can create this style card so effortlessly...I keep thinking "a little sumpthin-sumpthin" 
is needed and my CAS ends up not so much.  
But I like this card and will send it out to a friend I've been thinking of lately.💓

One of the newest challenges over at Papertrey Ink is called Laurie’s Fabulous Favorites from the amazing Laurie Schmidlin.  Every Wednesday she shares her favorite Papertrey Ink products/techniques/colors/designs ~ this week you are challenged to create a new project using your favorite inspiration source!
There are so many things to be inspired by, aren't there? 
One of my sources is the weekly flyers from retail stores, Macy's, JC Penneys and Beall's (a Florida store). They always have the most beautiful items in pretty tropical colors.  
Of course, Pinterest has a ton of inspiration, which I have been know to use as my "go-to" on occasion also. 😉

My Card ~ 

The shirt and shorts were my inspiration for my Tropical Birthday card going out to my nephew's birthday.
