Moxie Fab - Tuesday Trigger & CPS Card Sketch

Happy Sunday to you all! Hope your weekend was relaxing and fun.
Here I am posting to a couple of challenges and getting some Birthday cards completed for mailing on time~Yay! Don't you just love the colors of the Moxie Fab-Tuesday Trigger?

This happens to be one of my most favorite color combos. I actually did a few more cards with these colors, which I will post later... guess Regina's "King Cabbage " has truly inspired me.
I really like the sketch over CPS, check it out http://cardpositioningsystems.blogspot.com/

My Card ~ Now I know owls don't have purple and green feathers that are all a glitter, but I couldn't use brown tones on this cute little guy for this challenge, could I :o?
Stamps: Owl from Inkadinkado Patterned Birds & Bugs; Sentiment from Inkadindado Garden Flower set
Cardstock: Base card and Honeydew from Inner Pack
DP: Purple Gingham Flower Border and Purple Flower Dots from EK Sucess 'Over The Moon Press'
Ink: colored the owl and branch with watercolor paints; outlined all areas of owl with Glitter Pens; I used 'Lime Green', 'Baby Blue' and 'Lavender' from Stickles everywhere on the owl
Tools: Corner Punch and Corner Rounder from EKSuccess
Embellishments: Green bling in the center of the flowers from Studio 18

Thanks for stopping by, have a great evening!

  4. Your owl is stinking cute! Thanks for commenting on my Tuesday trigger card. I brayered right on Kraft cardstock. With the PTI ink I think you could brayer on their white cardstock. Not sure if it would work well on SU cardstock since it is glossy. If you have dye ink I think that glossy is the way to go. PTI ink does not work well with glossy I have to use my SU ink for that. That is a lot of information, but hopefully it answers your question.

    It's a good life!
