PTI - June 2012 Blog Hop
Whew! I was a little panicked about getting this card posted today! My internet service was down and when I called for repairs, I was told the problem would be fixed no later than Wednesday at 7:00 PM ~ WHAT?!?! Luckily, it was fixed within an hour of my call :)
Here's the Inspiration from PTI...you can check out the Blog Hop HERE
And this is my card:
I punched out 3 flowers from green, blue and yellow cardstock that I ran through my Cuttlebug with Textile, Swiss Dot and Heart Blocks embossing folders. Punched a hole in the center of each then added Glitter Brads and curled the petals of the top flowers. Glued the leaves on the bottom and popped them off the card with thick mounting tapes. The top and bottom Banner Borders are from PTI.
Thanks so much for looking :o)
I will stop by and comment on your entries this evening!

Kim Kesti's Crafty Monthly Challenge
I am entering this card to Kim Kesti's Crafty Month Challenge.
To participate all you need to do is,
1. Create a project that combines at least one new item and one item from your stash that is at least one year old.
2. Take a photo and link it to THIS POST by June 30, 2012, PST Midnight.
My NEW items are the foam balloon stickers which come in a package of 120 'Party" pieces (in bright primary colors) including large and small balloons, party hats, presents, two-tiered cakes, stars, candy and round balls.
My OLD item is the card base. It came in a Value Pack of 50 pastel colored 5X7 plain make-your-own greeting cards with matching envelopes that I bought at a local Craft store that went out of business 7 years ago :(

MIM #71 & MFW-The Gingham Challenge
Oh how I love this technique! This is my second card posted to PTI's Make It Monday #71, which you can check out HERE
By the look of the number of entries, everyone else likes it too :^)
Entering this card in another Challenge as well. This one is over at Moxie Fab World from Card Creations Week and there are like a gajillion entries there as well. Check that one out too HERE
My Card ~ The images all have a shimmery glimmer to them, which I did not capture in my photo :(
Cardstock: Lavender base card is Recollections. White is PTI's Stamper's Select (it is just the right weight for use paints on cause it doesn't bleed through)
Stamps: Baby Onsie is Hero Arts; Safety Pin is StudioG
Ink: Images were stamped in Coffee from Archival Inks; painted with Frosty Iris & Just Peachy from Radiant Pearls; Key Lime & Silver Bells from Shimmerz
Embellishments: Gingham ribbon is from Craft Ribbon; the green ribbon under the flower (leaves) used to cinch the wide gingham is from Michael's and the daisy silk flower is from my stash
Thanks for looking, I so appreciate you taking the time!

MIM #69 - Inspiration into Unique Sketches
Make It Monday at Papertrey Ink has a couple of great sketches, which you can download to use again and again, plus a very fabulous video by the creative Nicole Heady to inspire us this week. I had this card made earlier this week and never got around to posting it (until the nineteenth hour). You all know how 'life' gets in the way of our crafting efforts sometimes :(
Anywho, check out the sketches and video HERE
My card ~ I used one of the sketches for a simple card
Cardstock: Pale yellow base card and darker yellow insert are from Recollections
Stamps: Swirly 'ribbon' and Hope sentiment are from PTI "Fall Elegance" set
Tools & embellishments: Corner Rounder from EKSuccess; embellished frame and butterfly by Miss Elizabeth from The Dollar Tree

MFW - Tuesday Trigger-Mantastic
Had a little trouble with these colors and didn't think I would have a card to enter. Then I spotted this pack of patterned paper called "Debonair" and it is from GCD Studios in my Paper Cabinet~not used yet, of course :( I thought these colors are pretty darn close to the Tuesday Trigger. The brown strip in the middle is from American Crafts and I used Martha Stewart's border punch "cornice" on both sides. The sentiment is a stamp from Inique Boutique "Party Cupcakes", inked with StudioG's white cube ink. The brown gems are from StudioG also.
I think it came out masculine and will definitely use it for one of my 'mantastic' guy's birthday.
You can find all the creative entries on Moxie Fab World HERE.

MFW - Doillies and Lace Challenge
OK, in this Moxie Fab challenge we are to create a project that incorporates a doily or lace element.
Same deadline on this one (midnight tonight). Check out all the fab entries HERE
I have had this card mulling around in my head for some time now...so it was time to put in down on paper. I stamped the mason jar on the cardstock and on vellum then used glue dots to adhere one on top of the other. I did the same with the bee, except the top bees are stamped on yellow cardstock and cut out ~ a little glitter added to their wings.
