I don't have soda pop bottles which may be larger than my water bottle caps, so I was inking my fingers each time I put these letters into the ink pad. Ruined a few cards with ink smudges before I figured it out :( I found the clearish color on the caps was a little easier to use than the dark colored caps cause you can see where you are stamping ~ not that I got the letters any straighter ~ you probably noticed on both cards, I had to twist 'em.

I am mailing this card to my Aunt who just had hip replacement surgery...see the little envelop on top of the word LOVE, get it :o?
My Card ~
Cardstock: Basecard is Lime Green from Recollections; the stamped on image is Stampers Select White from PTI; the glittery patterned paper is from from DCWV-Citrus Stack
Stamps: Fancy Flourishes from PTI; Patterned Bugs from Inkadinkado; LOVE are the foam alpha die cuts
Embellishments: Sheer lime ribbon from Michaels; Crystal glitter on butterflies from stickles; envelope and butterfly 3-D sticker from Dollar Tree

ReplyDeleteOh I like this card! I also used water bottle caps. It was easier to place the letters where I wanted. Your aunt will adore this card!
