MIM #87

OK, I think I'm getting better at this?  At least my fingers are a little less inky :)
You can check out Heather Nichol's video to see how well her stamps came out.

I don't have soda pop bottles which may be larger than my water bottle caps, so I was inking my fingers each time I put these letters into the ink pad.   Ruined a few cards with ink smudges before I figured it out :(  I found the clearish color on the caps was a little easier to use than the dark colored caps cause you can see where you are stamping ~ not that I got the letters any straighter ~ you probably noticed on both cards, I had to twist 'em.

Inside sentiment: "Sending LOVE and prayers for a speedy recovery from your surgery"
I am mailing this card to my Aunt who just had hip replacement surgery...see the little envelop on top of the word LOVE, get it :o?

My Card ~
Cardstock:  Basecard is Lime Green from Recollections; the stamped on image is Stampers Select White from PTI;  the glittery patterned paper is from from DCWV-Citrus Stack
Stamps:  Fancy Flourishes from PTI; Patterned Bugs from Inkadinkado; LOVE are the foam alpha die cuts
Embellishments:  Sheer lime ribbon from Michaels; Crystal glitter on butterflies from stickles; envelope and butterfly  3-D sticker from Dollar Tree

  2. So pretty!! Lots of surgeries these days. I do love the card. Is that sentiment from Healing Sentiments? Thanks for the comment, sometimes I wonder what I'd do without all the crafty blogger friends that are out there!

  3. Oh I like this card! I also used water bottle caps. It was easier to place the letters where I wanted. Your aunt will adore this card!
