I created this note card going out to a friend today ~ it seems fitting to call it Stars and Stripes.

STAMPING OMBRE BACKGROUNDS
Laura Bassen brings her FUN style to a colorful project using a gradient of layered colors on this week's MIM.

I layered the 'stripes' in different shades of blue to create the ombre background on Stamper's Select White cardstock.
The Hello and Star dies are double cut to look like a shadow, then I glued them together and adhered to the front with foam tape for some dimension. The royal blue cardstock from Recollections is framing the top and all are taped to the White card base.
