MIM #89

This week's Make It Monday challenge is Creating Windows for Floating Images.  OK, in this video by Nicole Heady she creates her card in about 15 minutes....my card took over an hour after watching the video each step of the way and it's no where near as detailed as her's :o(
However, I did find this window technique pretty interesting and will try is again, but...

definitely need more practice!

  • Used PTI stamps from Spiral Bouquet
  • Paper is Vintage Cream from PTI; Melon base card is Recollections; my clear window is acetate from a stamp package
  • Inks are Ranger
  • Gold Tinsel embossing powder from Stampendous
  • Labels dies are from Spellbinders

Thanks ever so much for stopping by ~

  4. Fun card, Helen. Thanks for the link - may file it away for future fun. This butterfly is perfect for this technique.

  5. I like this. ;-) The colors are so pretty together, and I love the butterfly you used. I need to give that challenge a try (even though I'm too late!). I'd still like to try it. You did a great job. ;-)
