I don't have the "Salt Air Flora and Fauna" Stamps/Die sets yet,
but I wanted to have a sea-life and ocean theme, so I used my
What the Doodle: Waves here to mimic the inspiration photo.
Used every blue/green colored inks I own on the water and sky,
the pops of red are on the sailboat and the base card.
The happy birthday die is cut from glitter paper and those cute fish charms are from Michael's Crafts which I've been hoarding forever and needed them onto a card~this challenge seemed like the perfect time. 😊

What a great take on the inspiration photo Helen! Your puffy clouds look like they'd turn up waves like that and your little sailboat and fish being tossed along the waves are just perfect. It's always good when we can clean out some of our hoarded stash too. ;0)
ReplyDeleteCute card with your fish "surfing" the waves. Those clouds look like storm clouds are approaching, probably the cause of those big waves!

ReplyDeleteWOW how fun Helen, I have that die I have never used it. You have inspired me. I love how this came out. when I was thinking of my design I was thinking of waves at the bottom, but I went in a different direction. I just love what you did and your clouds in the sky are fantastic, You ship color and floating fish just complete the look-I LOVE IT!!!
