Cuttlebug - Be Inspired #20

Don't you just love this week's challenge from Valerie Salmon (Got Sketch?) over at Cuttlebug Challenges Blog. It's a beautiful sketch that I started last week, then got sick with a nasty virus and couldn't finish until today ... nothing like applying a little pressure to myself, huh :^) Used one of my favorite Cuttlebug folders ~ Swiss Dot, Fiscar Border punch, "Birthday Wishes" sentiment stamp from Brenda Walton's clear stamps (Inkadinkado), the flourish is an Outline Sticker from Anita's and the papers, silk flower and button from my ACMoore stash.
I am waaay out of my 'color comfort zone' here, but thought it would be a cheery card for my friend's birthday next week. Head over to the Cuttlebug blog if you'd like to see all the beautiful creations from the design team and other fabulous bloggers!

CPS 104

This is my card for today's CPS challenge. Isn't this a beautiful sketch? I have been procrastinating on about four cards that need to get done NOW ~ this challenge certainly got me going ~ especially with the chance to win PTI products ;o) Hope to be able to purchase some of their new stamps this month...they are all so beautiful, it's really hard to decide.

My butterfly and sentiment are from Inkadinkado Clear Stamps, card stock, print papers and silk flower from AC Moore.

Cuttlebug- Mellow Yellow Rendezvous Monday

Cuttlebug's Challenge for today is yellow, yellow and more yellow. Don't you just love how that color brightens everything?

My House Mouse stamp is called "Sunny Side Up" and the 'Swiss Dot' cuttlebug folder was used on bright yellow card stock from Michael's and of course, the sunflower had to be attached with polka dot ribbon (also from Michael's)

This week's Card Sketch (CPS 103)

This Week\ This week's sketch over at Card Positioning Systems lends itself to some really cute cards I think. I decided to make my first Easter card with this sketch design.

The "Bunny Border" stamp is from All Night Media, card stock, daisy flowers and ribbon are all from Michael's. The Cuttlebug folder is called "Stylized Flowers" which is one of my favorites especially for Springtime cards.

Papertrey Color Challenge

Happy Valentine's Day!

I joined in today's Papertrey color challenge using one of Dawn McVey's color combos. I chose white card stock with aqua (With Love~Cuttlebug folder) and avocado (crinkled cupcake paper).

Dawn's Blog http://dawnmcvey.typepad.com/these_a...gns-day-2.html is such a fun place to visit every day for inspiration. I just love her sweet style.

Cuttlebug Challenge #18

This was a fun challenge over at Cuttlebug Challenge Blog spot today.
My entry for the Shape Card was hand drawn on a folded piece of two sided card stock (dark pink inside). Used the 'Swiss Dot' Cuttlebug which looks like the old fashioned chenille bears. Teddy's button eyes are brad embellishments (from The Paper Studio, I think?), the rattle is from 'Dress It Up'. I glued the Congrats note to the other paw. Pink satin ribbon from Michael's and the glitter ribbon is a sticker from M'iss Elizabeth'

Papertrey'sFrends 'Til the End Challenge

This card was sent to my friend of 30 years! Can I just say, we have been through a lot together and she has always been there for me. One of the cards I send her throughout the year is on the anniversary of her mastectomy (7 years ago) to let her know she is continually in my thoughts and prayers.

The pink marble, white cardstock and pink polka dot ribbon are all from Michael's. I used "Heart Blocks" Cuttlebug folder and the Rose stamp is from Stamps Happen, Inc.

Papeertrey's new stamp set Friends 'Til the End looks beautiful and a definite 'must have'... their Quick Kit is another!

Over the rainbow challenge

I decided to join in the fun and enter PaperTrey's "Over the rainbow challenge" today, which in turn has forced me to finally develop a BLOG ~~ hope I can get it completed by the 3:00AM deadline :o)
I had to substitute the card stock (from AC Moore) of similar colors, but I can't wait to order the new Papertrey Cardstock Sampler Collection available on the 15th. What a great idea to have a selection of these beautiful colors all in one package. The background Cuttlebug folder is Stylized Flowers. The butterfly stamp is an 'oldie' I've had forever from Inkadinkado and the sheer ribbon is a (lucky) Dollar Tree find!
