Moxie Fab - Picking up the pieces & Card Patterns #57

Happy Sunday to you!
Hope your weekend is going well.

I have a card to post and think it covers two challenges out there.
Moxie Fab's Challenge is using scraps and paper piecing into paper crafted projects.
Check it out all the great entries here~ http://www.moxiefabworld.com/2010/03/picking-up-pieces-challenge.html

The sketch from Card Patterns is pretty and simple ~ http://cardpatterns.blogspot.com/ I will use this one over again!

My Card has only one stamp (Imagine That) on it which I inked (Chocolate Brown from Stampabilities) on four different patterned papers (some from Bo Bunny and others from my stash), cut out different parts (sky, trees, sheep, house w/fence) and paper pieced with Scotch Clear Glue. The Base card stock is pink from Xerox Parchment.

Embellishments: pink ribbon is from IQ Accessories; Pink, Waterfall, Lime Green and Crystal glitter from Stickles; corner rounder from EK Success; small scalloped edges cut on my Fiscars Paper Trimmer; words from my computer.

Moxie Fab - Diggin' on Doilies and Lace

Happy Monday ~

I am posting a card on Moxie Fab's Doilies and Lace Challenge. I do not usually use doilies on my cards but I do use a lot of lace~however, this is my entry.
I have lots of different size doilies cause I like to line cake and cookie dishes with them when I bake for family and friends. I took the smallest size and cut off the scalloped rim to give a more lace-like illusion. The base card is embossed with Cuttlebug's "Textile" folder (lacey enough, I thought) The cupcake is from Hero Arts, frosted with Stickles glitter and a red button as the cherry is tied on with a bow.

Moxie Fab - Tuesday Trigger-Texture + Color

Happy Spring! Hope your weekend was a good one. The weather is finally feeling like Florida...Spring Showers (actually, thunder storms:) and all.

I have another entry for Moxie Fab World tonight. I was really lovin' the photo colors and that bird from Carolyn King's photo.

My Card:
The Bird Stamp is from Inkadinkado "Patterned Birds & Bugs " clear stamp set. It was inked in Ranger ink "Coffee" and colored in with different colored Stickles. The background stamp is from Hero Arts "Four Leaf Grid" inked on kraft card stock with "Coffee" ink really reminds me of the wicker chair. The glittery branch is from Making Memories the the silk flowers are from Michael's. As always, thank you so much for stopping by~I love seeing what you think :o!

Moxie Fab - Tuesday Trigger-Lovely on the Green

Hi there, hope your Friday evening is going well. Just got home from eating out and wanted to post the card I made earlier for this week's Moxie Fab's Tuesday Trigger. I wasn't sure about entering this week and can't say this is my favorite shade of green. I know for sure I don't have any stamps to match the beautiful toile print or gingham ribbon... but after searching deep in my "stash of goodies" I found this strip of wallpaper I picked up, oh maybe 5 or 6 years ago when it almost made a border in one of my guest bedrooms and thought "This could work"!

I punched an oval shape of the print, backed it with dark green and used about 10 Adhesive Tabs to adhere it to another piece of wallpaper and then to the base card. The bow is really puffy, so I used several Mini Glue Dots to get it to stick onto the card...same process for the button ~ won't be mailing this one :o) You can click on the image for a better detail view.

I was pretty pleased with the outcome, what do you think?

My Card~
Cardstock: Off White base card and dark green is from AC Moore
Stamps & Ink: none
Tools: 3 1/2" Scallop Oval from Marvy; Corner Rounder from EKSuccess
Embellishments: Off White Satin ribbon from AC Moore; Vintage Button from Dress It Up
