MAKE IT MONDAY CHALLENGE
WATER COLOR RESIST

Lexi  is up this Monday, showing us a fun technique for watercolor resist using rubber cement. See her video HERE.

YAY!  I received my order from PTI yesterday and couldn't wait to ink up some of the beautiful Spring Woods flowers and sentiments.  There were so many gorgeous entries in the Blog Hop this month using the new stamp sets and I used the same pretty inspiration photo for my card :-)

MAKE IT MONDAY CHALLENGE
CUSTOMIZING PATTERN PAPER

Even though it is Wednesday, PTI is bringing us the Make It Monday Challenge!  I am joining  Lizzie as she shares some tips HERE for sprucing up your patterned papers with stamps, to give them a more customized look.
I have used this technique before.  I rarely create multiples, but at that time,  I stamped extra paper and die cuts so I could somewhat replicate the cute card I made.
I just  knew there would be a need for more Baby cards for all of my friends who are becoming Grandparents ;-)

My Card ~
I used an old wood block stamp 'Biased Stripe' stamp, crisscrossed it to make a plaid on Stamper's Select White, randomly adding the tiny hearts.  The lion and sentiment stamps from PTI's Sweet Baby set. Wonderful Words: baby also PTI. The 'Swiss Dot' embossing folder is Cuttlebug,  Baker's twine and button from Michael's.

Day 10 - Paper Crafting Alphabet

PTI has put a really  fun challenge together today in honor of the last day of their anniversary countdown (sniff sniff).  It is a Paper Crafting Alphabet Challenge!  You can use anywhere from the first three to ALL of the letters in your first or last name, skipping the duplicate letters in your first or last name.
Here is the free download, which I will definitely use again as a Mojo jogger or jumping off point for many more cards.  I went with                          my first name "HELEN"
and had 4 great letters from the list  to create with and some techniques I haven't used in a while   :-)

PAPERTREY INK
9TH ANNIVERSARY
Day 5 ~ Sampler Square Challenge

In honor of the PTI 9th Anniversary, we are challenged to cut nine 1-1/2 inch squares from white cardstock, then alter all nine squares using a variety of techniques, colors, stamps, whatever you like to make each square different. Once you have completed them, adhere the nine squares to a 5-1/2” x 5-1/2” square card front.
Okay, my head is spinning (more than usual) with ideas for this FUN challenge.  ;-)

My Card ~
Well, my second card actually.  I reread Nichole's instructions AFTER making my first :-{
I cut nine squares out of Stamper's Select White card stock and used a different 'something' on each.
This card, has Beautiful Butterflies stamps, sentiment from Embellishments stampset, 3 Embossing Folders, Water color markers, die cut leaves from SongBirds, felt flower w/bling, and wood veneers.

Day 4 ~ Create Along With Us-February

Instead of Make It Monday, PTI hosts "Create Along With Us" challenge during  Release months.  Nichole allows us to select something amazing that she or the Design Team has created during the February Release that we find inspiring.  We can then CASE a project using one of their color schemes, techniques or design with an older PTI set.  There is no shortage of inspiration especially this month ~ the Release combined with the 9th Anniversary.
Pretty cool, eh?

I really like this card using What The Doodle stamps/dies that Lizzie Jones created here:

Day 2 -  Select a piece of clothing for inspiration

Today's challenge is in honor of Betsy's new Dress Up Dolls, we can go through our closet, an online or store ad and select a piece of clothing to use as inspiration for a project.
Well,  this is fun ~ not only do we get to choose our fave piece to create off of, but we get to peek inside the closets of those who share a photo of theirs  ;-)

This top from my closet is my inspiration:
It's from Beall's (a Florida store) embellished with gold studs and bling in the two palm trees
