My card ~
Stamps/Dies:  PTI's Spring Woods;  Thinking of You by Diesire

I used white and Glimmer Aqua re-inker mixed together. I could have used more white paint, but I liked the background color on
off-white Watercolor paper.

PTI Blog Hop-October 2016

This month's  inspiration photo is so lovely for an
Autumn themed card.
My card includes wood grain EF sponged with grey ink for the background.  I made a little book with print from an old dictionary to mimic the music sheet in the photo  that I placed under the Song Bird leaves, then stamped my sentiment from Fall Elegance and finally added an array of pumpkins colored with Spectrum Noir markers :-)

Melissa has such a lovely style and the cards she makes are always so inspiring.
In this video, we learn how to get even more mileage out of our paper crafting supplies with an easy technique!  Check it out HERE.

 My Card ~
I made a stencil out of my PTI Cover Plate: Butterfly by cutting out the smallest butterfly die. Instead of using a paper towel, I used my Mini Ink Blending tool and dabbed it into each ink color for my background.
The Peony On Parade flower and leaves were die cut and stamped with Black ink, The center of the flower is embossed with black powder.  I was going to color it in, but decided at the last minute to leave it as is and just pop it onto the butterfly panel.
My original thought (which I totally forgot!) was to cut a Black cardstock panel instead of the Aqua for a bit more drama ... I may do that with the next card :-)

I finally had time to join Ashley on MIM this week on the last day!  See her video HERE as she challenges us to use pumpkin stamps and dies in three different ways on cards.
