I used my newly purchased Balloon Bash cover plate on a panel of  Stamper's Select White c/s, cut the Birthday Cheer  "celebrate" die from some painted and splattered paper and glued it to some foam for a bit of dimension. The balloons are adheaered with some 3D pop-up tabs from Tombow

Win It Wednesday #2

WIN IT WEDNESDAY
LAURIE'S FABULOUS FAVORITES

One of the newest challenges over at Papertrey Ink is called Laurie’s Fabulous Favorites from the amazing Laurie Schmidlin.   Every Wednesday she shares her favorite Papertrey products. You have the opportunity to join along this week and post your card or project featuring your favorite "Papertrey cardstock colors".

I love Aqua Mist card stock with just about any other color and have used it with True Black here on this card.  I added Wink of Stella to the flower of Meadow Greens.  I just got this stampset and need to play around with it a bit more ~ it's been on my Wish List for a couple of years 😍.  I always like seeing it used by the DT and also peeps who have it out there in Blogland.

Sorry for the hazy picture ... it's just about sunset here but I wanted to post my card before the crazy starts this week.

Creative With Stamps

It's the 15th of the month and the Design Team at "Creative With Stamps" has created another card to share with you Mid Month for our February Challenge ~ Love.

You can check out the cards from my fabulous team mates and all of the entries from everyone so far  HERE.

Don't forget you can enter up to 3 cards each month and if you follow the simple guidelines, you can win some great prizes 😊

My Card ~
The single rose image and lovely sentiment are part of beautiful stamp set "About A Rose" from Stamplorations.  I used my Misty to position the images on Watercolor Paper, then die cut the Wonky Stitch frame. I then popped that onto a sweet Heart-embossed blue panel.  That pale blue sheer ribbon is from Michael's and everything was glued down onto a white card base.  Although the watercolor paper is an off white, it didn't look as pretty on my cream color base, so I went with white.

PTI Transformation Tuesday #31

TRANSFORMATION TUESDAY
CHALLENGE #31

I am joining Melissa Bickford as she revisits using colorful card-stock strips and changes up her card by adding a few sweet images and simply switching up the Thank You sentiments for the upcoming season… SPRING!  Go HERE to see Melissa's cards and enter your own transformed creation.
By the way, THANK YOU, PTI for keeping this awesome challenge going!💓
I really love having the chance to transform a card that we didn't feel as happy with when we originally created it!

I always love seeing other peeps design their Sympathy cards in beautiful, bright colors, but I'm not quite sure why, I really like to use pastels or even white on white.
So, my "transformed" card is done in  blush and pale violet with silver embossed sentiment and tiny iridescent sequins.  This card will go in the front of the box I have for my Sympathy cards.

Win It Wednesday #1

PTI ~WIN IT WEDNESDAY

One of the newest challenges over at Papertrey Ink is called Laurie’s Fabulous Favorites from the amazing Laurie Schmidlin.   I hope to be joining her every Wednesday as she shares her favorite Papertrey products. You have the opportunity to join along this week and post your card or project featuring "your favorite product". Well, like everyone else who buys from the company,  THAT changes every day 😉

I happen to have "Reef Builders" on my desk with several colors of these pretty sea-life creatures already cut, so my card came together nicely with the added water-colored background and added Shape Shifter: Oval 2 die in navy blue on a navy base cardstock.
The water drops and happy day die completed the look I was going for.

I still have my Rosie Posie stamp/die set on my desk from last week, so I colored up a few more flowers and popped them onto the inside piece of Shape Shifters: Oval 3 die ~
yes, Cat, it wasn't easy, but I cut it apart  ;o)

I just picked up a new 12X12 paper pad called "Sunday Morning" by Craft Smith at Michael's yesterday and used two of the pretty patterned papers under this arrangement.
