Moxie Fab - Tuesday Trigger & Everything But the Kitchen Sink

This week's Moxie Fab's Tuesday Trigger is a beach cottage bedroom from Coastal Living Magazine submitted by Kazan Clark. I have to tell you these colors are in my guest room and living in Florida I am always inspired by summery images...even though it is winter here now and at 50 degrees, it's freezing to us ~ sorry everyone up North and in the Mid-West, but it IS cold :(

I also think this card qualifies for EBTKS's Challenge this week ~ *Use wrapping paper in your creation!
My card is for my niece's birthday~she lives in the North East and really hates the cold, so I thought this would warm her up.
Details ~
Stamps: Seashell Border and Warm Wishes sentiment are from "Stamping Cabana" (which used to be a local stamp/craft store in this area 6-7 years back), Adirondack Chair and Shells is from "Inkadinkado"
Inks: Brilliance "Moonlight White" and Stampabilities "Chocolate Brown"
Card stock: White and Aqua Blue from Georgia Pacific
Tools: Cuttlebug folder "Divine Swirl, EKSuccess "Corner Rounder" punch
Embellishments: Ribbon from a gift I recieved, Stickles "Copper glitter over the sentiment, Starfish button from my stash

*Giftwrap is the brown paper wrapping on a package I received for Christmas and I stamped it with the Seashell border in "Moonlight White" ink

Capture the Moment - Scrap-tastic Challenge

You need to pop over to check out what the Senior DT for PTI did with scraps! Fabulous cards and some tips on how to store your left overs.

On the first of every month Nicole Heady sets up a challenge for her Design Team. Well this month she's challenged anyone else to join in. The challenge: Use all of those scraps to create your project. I couldn't resist this one, seeing as I have files full to the brim with scraps of papers, baskets of ribbon pieces, jars of embellishments, etc. etc. etc. I do have a tendancy to use my puches on the smaller pieces which I keep in 'coin' envelopes also. This photo is only a teeny tiny portion of what I consider "Good Scrap Pieces" :)

My card ~
Stamped Image: PTI Fancy Flourishes, inked in "Chocolate Brown"
Card stock: White, Brown, Raspberry are from American Crafts
Patterned Papers: Hmmm, a little of this and that
Punches: Martha Stewart's-Butterfly, EKSuccess-Corner Rounder and Fleur de lis, McGill-Super Giant Daisy 2"
Brad in center of daisy from Making Memories

Moxie Fab- Tuesday Trigger

Moxie Fab has been issuing a fun new challenge each Tuesday. You are to create a card based on inspiration from a photo sent into Cath. I've tried on many occasion to meet the deadline and for one reason or another, I've just missed it :( Well, I was bound and determined to submit something this week...love the patchwork stocking and quilt from Pottery Barn. I didn't have a Christmas stocking but found this puffy gold reindeer which adds to the Christmas theme. Also realized I only had one (can you imagine!) mat stack of papers with red and white DP to use. Anywho, this is my card. Hey, I'm so early, maybe I'll be able to submit another one before Monday :o)

My card ~
Cardstock: Base white is a Martha Stewart note card. Squares of patterned paper from "Generations" stack pack
Embellishments: Gold reindeer puffy sticker from "Holiday Time", Organza Red ribbon from "Creative Accents",
Tools: Square punch from EKSuccess, border punch from Martha Stewart

You all know I love to hear from you and really appreciate your comments. Have a great eventing!

Raspberry Suite Color Challenge #19

Dawn McVey has a beautiful color challenge that I was a little wary of trying ~ but, I thought what the heck and here goes.

Using these colors was really fun and so out of my coloring box. I was totally inspired by the tee shirts Dawn and Nicole were wearing and as soon as I saw the pictures they both posted, I new exactly what the next Raspberry Color Challenge was going to be :o)
I always enjoy looking at how everyone interprets these challenges ~ so many talented ladies out there!

Unfortunately, the lighting in my craft room at night is not good enough. The lavender looks pink, moss green looks like pea soup and the aqua looks grey ~ sorry.
They really are closer in real life.
NOTE: I re-photographed (hmmm, is that a word?) my card in the daylight, like it better-- so I just edited my post.

My Card ~
Stamps: Papertrey Ink's "Fancy Flourishes" and "Fall Elegance "
Card Stock: Light aqua, lavender and moss are from K&Company
Ink: "Chocolate Brown" from Stampabilities
Embellies: Raspberry and Moss flower ribbon from Michael's Spool O'Ribbon, Brown square mini brad from Making Memories
