 Day 4 ~ Card 4
Using another oldie but goodie block stamp called "Butterfly Tea Cup" by Impression Obsession. which I outlined in gold and colored in the flowers, butterfly and cookies with Watercolor Pencils.

It was fussy cut and popped up with double sided tape onto vellum which is softening the leaves I gold embossed then used acryllic paint to color on white cardstock.  The tea bag tag has gold twine attached and a wood veneer heart finishes it off.  The three panels are adhered to lemon yellow card base.

Day 3 ~ Card 3:
This is an old
(the date on it is 2000) wood block stamp "Pansy Tea Cup" from Stampendous. The sunflowers peeking out from the leaves are a from Stampin' Up stamp set (dated 1995!).
I still love it and use it for get well or thinking of you cards.
The leaves are a 3-in-1 punch from EKSuccess.
I die cut Spellbinders "Labels Twenty-Three" to create the window in the base card.

Card # 2:
I fussy cut the tea cups from a sweet Hampton Art stamp set after inking them in Fall colors (there are Fall leaves on them if you look closely :-) then stacked them to the left of my sentiment. Added the wood veneer hearts and arrow leading my Aunt to a get well message on the inside.  The Tim Holtz EF, 'Retro Circles' is embossed onto the base card.

The To-Go cup and sentiment stamps are Sweet 'n Sassy.
The Pumpkin is Craftsmart from Michael's (used to be $1 bin).
That leaf is a plastic ring (back cut off) that came on Fall cupcakes from our local Publix bakery.  The cupcake was delish, by the way  :-p

I had fun creating the chalkboard, haven't done that in a while.  Picked up on the beautiful Fall colors for my Butterflies and added some gold thread nested under each one on this Thank You note card.  Embossed the sentiment and butterfly layers with White Embossing Power onto a Black card panel, which is popped it onto Rustic Orange and then onto White Stamper's Select card base.

MIM 224

MAKE IT MONDAY CHALLENGE #224
TWO-TONED STAMPED SENTIMENTS

Danielle Flanders is up this week, showing us how to create a two-toned sentiment effect with stamps and dies.  Watch her video HERE  to see her tips for this clever technique.  Love Danielle's Fabulous card!  Plus, I never tried this before, so I  was up for the challenge and think  my card can be either masculine or feminine :-)

The "happy birthday" sentiment was embossed with white embossing power onto black cardstock, then in charcoal onto the white base card.  A strip of musical notes Washi Tape was attached to the side holding the black strips on. All of the dies are from PTI Song Birds.
