This week's Make It Monday features Heather Nichols showing us a technique that I have not used before, but plan to use again and again. I really like how this changes the look of embossed images :)
I needed a masculine card for my friend's husband who is dealing with some health issues. I think this does the trick.
My Card ~
Cardstock: base card and birdcages stamped on Stamper's Select White from PTI; Kraft and shadow blue tags and orange stars CS are from Michael's
Stamps: Writing Background from Hero Arts stamped onto embossed tag; Birdcage from Studio G, sentiment printed on my computer
Tools & Embellishments: Birds and Swirls embossing folder from Cuttlebug; Banner Borders die from PTI; brown and white twine, flower brad and natural hemp from AC Moore
Thanks for stopping by :o)
great tag on the card - the embossing folder fits perfectly with the birdcage
