Make it Monday #34

Sorry the lighting in my craft room is terrible at night and, of course I am posting this at 11:00 PM... Hope to take a better picture in the morning.

I really liked making my own heart chipboard accent the way Erin Lincoln showed us in a video at Nicole Heady's Blog~check it out here:

My Card~

Cardstock: base card is Pure White (although it looks yellow here); heart is 5 layers of a Centrum Multiple Vitamin box glued together with a Glue Stic and the top layer is Black & White Basics Collection from Papertrey Ink. You can acturally see the shadow of how thick the heart is in the photo
Ink: Rose Red from Stampin Up; sentiment from my computer
Stamps: Fancy Flourish from Papertrey Ink.
Tools: Heart punch by Marvy
Added the fine glitter from Studio g with double sided tape which is another Papertrey Ink technique.

  3. Love how the heart looks like it's flying away on those flourishes! And a BIG welcome back! I was a little worried there for a while... :)

  6. Hi Helen, this card is so PRETTY and I LOVE the Flourishes with the sentiment Sending. Looks like it's flying to the recipient! PS You might want to invest in a light tent. Now I can take photos day and night and I've saved myself a LOT of frustration!
