NBUS-Challenge #2 and HB2U, Bev

First off, I need to apologize for being MIA the last several weeks out there in Blog Land!  I have been working on several projects around my house and have had no "Craft time" ;-( ... not even  to comment on my blog friends posts, cards and projects.  I promise by next week  "I'll be back" around to visit with you all
(that was in my best Arnold Schwarzenegger voice!)

Now onto  some crafty fun Schtuff.

The incredibly funny, generous and so darn sweet Darnell has hit another milestone of 600 (!) followers on her awesome blog.  In honor of this not-so-much-of-a-surprise-to-me accomplishment, she is hosting another NBUS~Challenge.  Check it out  HERE ~  or click on her NBUS moniker on my sidebar and you will go directly to her home page. I'm tellin' you, you won't want to leave :-)

Here is my card for her challenge

The NBUS from my hoarded stash is:
*   the base card is an embossed 5 1/2 X 5 1/2" white note card 6-pak w/envies from Michael's (from when their $1.50 bins were $1.00)
*   the pretty turquoise patterned paper panel from a BoBunny  Paper Pad that I won from Miss Moxie Fab World, Cath (:-)
*   the birdcage die from Spellbinder's Shapeabilities
*   yellow butterfly brad from Special Moments

Also, going to add this card to the Surprise Birthday celebration for  Bev of Happy Dance.

 Happy Birthday to you
Happy Birthday to you
Happy Birthday Dear Be-evvvvv
Happy Birthday to you!
Darnell and  Ardyth are having a party for  sweet Bev and we are all invited to join in.  You can post your greeting card on Ardyth's Awesome Maskerade blog.

From the perfect colors, to the sparklies, to the layers of flowers; I just love it! Sure hope your 'around-the-house' projects end for you soon so I can come back and see what other wonders you've created! Thanks for making my day extra special. Bev

  4. A gorgeous card for a gorgeous lady! I know what you mean with 'no time', my hubby and I have just started holidays and have been busy at home doing nothing and everything really. We are having a great time as this year has been enormous, so it's nice to finally take some time to catch up, might even get a little camping in!
