MIM #267

MAKE IT MONDAY
Assembly Line Card-Making

Laurie is up this week on MIM sharing some tips for whipping up lots of cards for Christmas or any other occasion, assembly line style.  Check her video HERE.

Okay, I have to admit, this is a new-for-me concept.  I tend to re-invent the wheel each time I make a card, which is totally crazy especially after a card is finished and mailed off, I think
"Wow, I shoulda~woulda~coulda made a few of that one!"

I don't have those totally adorable little mice stamps/dies yet, but they are definitely on my Wish List for the next order :o)

Had to go with glittery red Song Birds and different colored green leaves with white berry die cuts. The bird is sitting on a silver glitter tape at the bottom.  I planned on using the wood grain embossing folder on all, but tried a Pine Branch and Swiss Dot EF  on a couple and thought they made a pretty background plus a little bit of a difference on each card~~so, not quite re-inventing the wheel on these ;-)

  7. One of my favourites of the lineup, Helen. Gorgeous colours and I love how you varied your embossed backgrounds - it's no more work for you, but it adds something special to the set.
