These feathers reminded me that I bought a Peacock Feather stamp by Inkadinkado last time I visited AC Moore (in MA)  and haven't inked it up yet!
I stamped the feather and heat embossed with fine gold embossing powder.  I printed the sentiment on vellum that is speckled with gold flecks then die cut it and a piece of antique white cardstock with Spellbinders Shapeabilities to make the ribbon which is not flat on the surface of the card front. I punched a whole on either side of the ribbon banner and attached it with Mini Jewel Brads from American Crafts.

Make It Monday ~  Striped Embossing.  See the video HERE of Betsy showing us how easy it is to stripe your embossing...huh? Easy, not so much! I attempted to make several cards following Betsy's technique, but none of them came out as beautifully as her's. Not that I thought for one minute it would, mind you, who could hope to come close to Betsy Veldman's creative genius?

MFW - TT

The Tuesday Trigger-In Transition at Moxie Fab World this week has lots of card ideas swirling in my head for some reason and  I already made a card to post!  I believe THAT is a record for me ~  LOL.

Inspiration photo where I picked up the colors and straight overlapping lines

Now, I am not sure why I have such a tough time adding elements that have no connection with each other (like the cartoony star fish and the straight lines of not-even-sea-related patterned colors along with the Hello sentiment??) onto my cards, but...this one just seemed to happen.  :-) 
The "straight lines" of color and patterns are decorative and washi tapes: the hello stamp is from Hampton Arts;  the starfish was a plastic pick that topped a cupcake (1 of 6 :) that I bought in the grocery store bakery last week, I added the googly eyes ~ be on the lookout for his sea-mates!

MIM #130 Challenge

Make It Monday ~ Using Heat N' Bond to Make Fabric Die Cuts is another one of those addicting challenges.  Erin's video shows us how to die cut out of materials using a heat n' bond on the back to attach these die cuts to gift bags or cards or scrapbook layouts or...well check it out for yourself and see how creative everyone is.  I ironed on a Fabric Stabilizer to some purple felt and die cut a few butterflies to adhere to a Birthday card I made for a friend.

I tied silver twine and glued it to my card under the butterfly. The flower silhouette stamp is from Just For Fun and inked with smokey grey ink on white c/s, I used Marvey's Mega Giga scalloped oval to punch it out.  The sentiment was stamped in grey onto flower-patterned vellum.

MIM - Using Heat n' Bond

I had a couple of extra felt die cut flowers from my last card, so I decided to make another Make It Monday ~ Using Heat N' Bond to Make Fabric Die Cuts card.

The 'parenthesis' come from nesting two different size Spellbinder Labels Eight dies together.  I ended up with a frame, but added the decorative tape to the top and bottom to create parenthesis :)
The flowers are backed with Fabric Stabilizer I had in my sewing basket.

Make It Monday  ~ Using Heat N' Bond to Make Fabric Die Cuts was a bit of a challenge for me this week, but I can't pass up a chance to try something new and different now can I?   ;-). 
Erin does a great job in this VIDEO, showing us how to create a gift bag using Heat N' Bond.  I chose a card for my project:

The Label is from Spellbinders, the pretty pattern paper is from "berries & vines" is Gina K Designs and the gingham decorative tape is from The Dollar Tree.

The Bloom  is cut from red felt, the center is hot pink felt and the leaves are cut from larger silk flower leaves. I used a (name unknown)  Fabric Stabilizer that I had in my sewing basket stash from God knows when ~ I'm certain it's more than 10 years old and I was happy it still worked :-)

Moxie Fab World has a pretty inspiring photo for the current Tuesday Trigger "Honoring Ombre" ~  dontchya think?

Love the look of this ombre (my flowers) technique but find I don't use it often enough.

I punched out six flowers in various violet colored cardstock and added the green gems to the center of three. The Scalloped Oval punch is in the center of Polka Dot PP backed by purple cardstock and mounted onto coordinating Gingham Flower Border and Polka Dot PP.  All of these layers were then glued to the front of my card base.
