BABY WIPES STAMPING

The butterflies are the most muddied up of the different stamps I tried with this technique.  But, I kinda like the water colored effect it created. Again, the inside photo colors are distorted :(

They are much more pastel IRL.

First off, I need to apologize for the 'inside' photo, it is currently blowing up a storm outside! There are palm fronds flying out sideways from the tops of the trees around here. I hear thunder in the distant background, but if it lets up before dark, I'll take another pic ~The colors are much prettier IRL.

I stamped the Rosie Posies with Cape Cod blue ink and used the Baby Wipe ink pad on the leaves and Step 2 of the large Posie for this card

Edited to add a photo I just took ~ it is still overcast outside, but this photo is a tad better than the "inside" one above!

The panel under the flowers is more of a sage green than the grey it looks like here, but all of the other colors are close to real life.

BABY WIPE STAMPING

Ashley is up this week and her video demonstrates how to use baby wipes and re-inkers as a stamp pad. 

Okay, so I used a Rosie Posie stamp and die cut for this Baby Wipe Technique.  The flower is kinda tie die looking with the re-inkers, I inked the Step 2 part with solid color to define the image a bit more.  The Beautiful Butterfly image is a mistake :-o  

There was no way I was tossing the card as the butterfly was the last addition....and, think maybe I created a new (well, to me) technique :-)

*  I inadvertently inked the back of the butterfly into the baby wipe and ended up with a blob of colors

*  Turned the butterfly to the right side and inked it in solid blue 

*  Stamped over the blob

DIY NOTEBOOKS Challenge

Just one more little notebook before bed  ;-)

Of course it's an inside photo, so the colors are not as pretty as in real life.  I really like this flower in the PTI Rosie Posie set and use it quite a bit on my cards.  The inside papers are chartreuse, aqua, light grey and white ~ matching the cover.

I used some smaller stamps from PTI's Beautiful Butterflies set 
and made a little tab out of washi tape for a closure on this one. 
I ran out of score tape a while back and didn't want to take the  time to run to my favorite craft store (45 minutes drive), so I used double sided tape to hold my colored (light-weight) computer papers in place and brought the back panel of cardstock paper up and around    :-)

Erin has a video up this week with a great little gifty project idea!

I love having these little note pads in my purse, so I thought I would try the DIY challenge HERE.

I think they came out good enough to add as "a little something extra" in the next gift bag I give   :-)

I masked off PTI's Rosie Posie bloom before inking the leaves on the cover of my notebook to create a little depth and dimension.
