I made this card for a dear friend in MA who is always a gracious host and offers me a place to stay whenever I travel to New England.  The Fall foliage is still bright and beautiful so I thought this "Wreath of Leaves" would make an appropriate thank you card.

My trip last week was for my Mom's funeral. It was not totally unexpected, but still a difficult part of life.  I was sad about her passing, but happy she is reunited with Our Lord, my Dad, my brother and all of the family and friends who have gone before her once again.

  9. I am so sorry to hear about your mom. I lost my mom in the spring and although you know it's coming, you miss the days when they were in better health...I too share your same hope that my mom is with The Lord, my dad and sister. It gives great comfort. Thinking of you. Your card is lovely. Love the fall wreath on the gate! Sending a hug.
