MIM #175

MAKE IT MONDAY CHALLENGE
CREATIVE CARD BORDERS USING NON-BORDER DIES
Okay, I admit it, I am becoming obsessed with this week's MIM.  Thanks to Danielle's easy-to-follow video, it is really a fun technique. Check out all the amazing cards being posted.
If you have visited my Blog before, you know I can't do CAS, try as I might ~ it just ain't a happening. I have such a hard time leaving all that 'white' space and can't seem to stop myself from adding the "missing something".
Well, I am thinking there may be a slight breakthrough!!!  Does this card qualify for CAS?

Okay...
I wrote this post when I finished my card late last night but couldn't get a decent photo! Sooo, this morning, in the light of day, I added the bow and the sequins.  I guess that means the CAS style has eluded me AGAIN! :-)

  1. I am the same way, just can't stop adding a few things here and there, otherwise it looks plain to me! Love how your card turned out!

  3. Love your CAS card! I am definitely with you though on having to put things into the white space...naked spaces drive me nuts! :0) Really cute card though and love the color!

  4. This is so pretty! I would say that even though you added the bow and sequins, this card is still clean and crisp and calming. Beautiful colours.

  5. I agree that it's hard to not add something to a card. The purple is really pretty! I love the flower as a border--it looks gorgeous.

  6. Helen, you are making me laugh. I think this card is quite lovely--that purple bloom is so gorgeous, as are all the other little touches. Now, I would not say that is CAS, but it is so pretty, so what does it matter?

  7. Helen, this is so pretty. Such an elegant card. Love the colors. At times, I too feel it needs just something more. That's too funny about you wanting to use Sweet Baby for this technique.
