Thank you, Darnell for all of your hard work in pulling this Challenge together~it delightfully forces me to delve into the mountain of schtuff in my craft room that I can't seem to STOP buying!

I made this card for a friend's birthday (she is a snowbird and really enjoys the tropical weather here), it qualifies for this NBUS:
* The Adirondack chair is one of two dies from Impression Obsession
* The "seagulls" flying overhead are part of  an EK Success corner punch
* I do believe the Large Palm Tree should be included here as well.  It is a wood block stamp I bought at a yard sale for $2.50 about 8 years ago. I'm not sure it was ever used,  if it was, it's been a couple three years (gasp).  It's from All Night Media~are still around?

  1. Such a cute summertime card, Helen.

  2. Looks divine to me - would sure love to be in a tropical setting about right now! Very nice card; I'm sure your friend loves it!

  3. Great card, Helen! You kept this palm tree stamp for eight years and it has NBU? Congrats on trying it! Thank you for your nice comment to my post -Ksenija

  4. I want to get a book and sit there! What a great scene!

  5. I want to get a book and sit there! What a great scene!

  6. I can hear the seagulls from here! What a great summery scene... now if only there wasn't still snow on the ground... Sigh*

  7. Love your beautiful card Helen - such a relaxing scene! xx

  8. Beautiful card Helen, such a relaxing scene.

  9. What a great card, complete with an image I'd like to see myself in! LOL Way to use that NBUS in such a fun way! I can almost feel the breeze from that palm tree - along with the splinters from the adirondack chair! lol

  10. This is a gorgeous summer scene Helen, great use of your NBUS. Carol x

  11. Haha, a couple three years. I'm chuffed that you pay attention and enjoy my little lingo, Helen! Your summer scene is SO inviting with all those "must have" elements so perfectly employed! And hello? Those seagulls from the punch? Geeneeus!! I'm counting the palm tree, too! It is literally the best one I have ever seen. I have a feeling you are going to be using it more often now that you have rediscovered it! Thank you so much for your VERY kind words, your friendship, and for playing in my NBUS Challenge #4!! Hugs, Darnell
