USING GELATOS WITH STAMPS

I don't own any Gelatos (yet :). although I have come close on several Micheal's Craft Store visits.  My improvising for this technique is 'sponge daubing' with the inks I used on my PTI Spiral Bouquet stamp images.  Instead of using a patterned stamp on the top, I used an embossing folder.  The envie is also decorate.

Note:  The cardstock was cut 4 1/4 X 11 1/2 and scored to have a top flap at 1 3/4" and 7 1/4" for the center fold.

  4. LOVE this card Helen! I don't know why I've never noticed that stamp set before, but it is so pretty and just perfect for this technique! And don't you just love it when you can find a way around an item you don't have?! Sponge daubing was the perfect answer and it looks fabulous! Really like your top treatment too...awesome card!! :0)

  6. Beautiful! Helen, love the way you improvised, it looks just as pretty with the daubers, and the top flap is wonderful. Always love seeing matching envelopes, makes it so special! That stamp set is so unique, don't recall seeing it. Must check it out!

  8. Helen, this is fabulous! Love the embossed top flap and gorgeous flowers softened a bit by sponge daubing. Certainly gives more options color wise that buying umpteen Gelatos.
