This pretty lady is actually holding a flower, but I cut her fingers out with an exacto knife to make her hold the to-go coffee cup.  I think the stamp is from Picket Fences, but don't know her name.

I will keep my posts short and sweet cause I know this will be another record breaking hop to get through.  😊

This month our Challenge is "Baby" cards.  I love making cards for the new little ones in my life, don't you?  It's mostly Grand-babies for my family and friends now ~ which is so special and fun!

Yup... it's a wine bottle gift tag for a dear friend's birthday coming up in May.

I die cut the Balloon Bash cover plate twice and off set it just a tad when gluing it together.  The balloons are a Martha Stewart punch.

There are many techniques you can use: watercolors, colored pencils, chalk pastels and alcohol markers.  
I chose watercolor paints on the Bird and the background blue sky and green grassy ground 😊

Well, this is my attempt at CAS anyway 😊
I am in awe of the card makers who can create this style card so effortlessly...I keep thinking "a little sumpthin-sumpthin" 
is needed and my CAS ends up not so much.  
But I like this card and will send it out to a friend I've been thinking of lately.💓

There are so many things to be inspired by, aren't there? 
One of my sources is the weekly flyers from retail stores, Macy's, JC Penneys and Beall's (a Florida store). They always have the most beautiful items in pretty tropical colors.  
Of course, Pinterest has a ton of inspiration, which I have been know to use as my "go-to" on occasion also. 😉

My Card ~ 

The shirt and shorts were my inspiration for my Tropical Birthday card going out to my nephew's birthday.
