MIM #330

MAKE IT MONDAY
Repeating The Greeting

I am joining Lizzie Jones on MIM this week as she shares how repeating a sentiment can give it more substance and make it a feature of your card.  You can watch her video and see her beautiful card HERE.

My Card ~

Well...I'm rushing (as usual) to get a few cards made and posted before heading out.
I love "Spring Woods" stamp/dies for a Sympathy card, just not  sure about this repeat-the-sentiment/greeting technique is the best to use with this particular sentiment. Truth be told, I couldn't find my "Sending Prayers" stamp, soooo when it appears from wherever it is hiding, I may have to change it out (?)

  1. Helen, what a lovely and soothing sympathy card! The pink flowers with that bright yellow bird go so well together. And I like it on that embossed background too.

  3. Hi Helen, I've been off visiting relatives so I am just catching up on blog posts. I really enjoyed seeing your Parrot card such perfect greens you chose for those tropical leaves. I also loved seeing those leaves in the blue/aqua shades.

That was a great stormy sky for your sailboat on your mim card. An this one really grabs me, cause well you know how much I love the flowers.

  4. Beautiful, beautiful card Helen!! I think it looks fine repeating that sentiment and most people are going to be looking at the branches, flowers, and bird anyway! This will definitely bring comfort to someone in their time of need!! Well done!! :0)
